My background is in computer science, artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimization. However, I have been working in Computational Biology in recent years. I have held both industry and academic positions; teaching, researching and consulting. My most recent interest is Synthetic Biology of RNA, in which I believe there is a bright future, specially in antiviral therapies. Nevertheless, I am still involved in more computational areas and as such, I am PC member of AAAI’13 and CP’13. I am open to new ventures in different fields as long as the problems are challenging.
