SOSV is hosting its completely free 2024 Health Tech VC-Founder Matchup, with meetings taking place online between February 26th (Monday) and March 8th (Friday). Read below for registration information.

Based on our past experience conducting matchups, we expect that this virtual event will bring together 500 startups and 300 investors for 1:1 meetings online over two weeks, scheduled at mutually convenient times.

In 2023, SOSV Matchups generated over 5,000 one-on-one meetings in Health Tech, Climate and Industrial Tech, receiving high praise from over 2,000 participants:

Who should attend?

• Health Tech investors, and startups up to series B.
• Our definition for “Health Tech” ranges from digital health to biopharma, therapeutics, diagnostics, not to mention medical devices, surgical robotics and all things AI and computational biology in health.

How does it work?

• Step 1 – From Feb 5, participants can register.
• Step 2 – From Feb 19, after your application is approved, we will send you a link to the Grip platform, where you can see all participants and request meetings.
• Step 3 – From Feb 26 to March 8 : conduct meetings on our event platform (or outside beyond this date).

The event is completely free to attend. We expect relevance and good behavior (see the application form for details).

Note: There is a limit of 25 pending meeting requests you can send to investors. You can cancel requests to get them back.

FAQs

Q: What is the duration of meetings?

• 20 minutes + 10 minutes buffer + option to extend.

Q: Can I connect outside the Grip platform?

• Yes. You can use Calendly or equivalent to set up outside meetings using Zoom, Teams, Meet, etc.
• All participants share their LinkedIn URL so you can connect there too.

Q: Why is SOSV doing this?
