VIA BioFuels has a proprietary, engineered S. cerevisiae yeast strain that produces aromatic 3-methylanisole (3-MA) using typical Ethanol producing feedstocks. 3-MA can be converted to MCH and/or Toluene for use in SAF, Hydrogen transport, transportation fuels and chemical feedstocks for BTX and Para-Xylene (PET Plastics). VIA’s technology can be scaled using existing Ethanol technologies and infrastructure.
