Michael is the Director of Electronic Engineering at SOSV HAX in Shenzhen. He is responsible for assisting all SOSV HAX teams in ensuring their electronics are functional, safe, and efficient. Michael is also knowledgeable about firmware and embedded Linux.

Prior to working at SOSV, Michael worked in engineering in fields ranging from power electronics and web applications to 3d printing and realtime computer vision. He is the designer of the 5-driver Smoothieboard, which is used in numerous 3d printers, laser cutters, mills, and other miscellaneous CNC machines across the world, including in two HAX teams’ products—OpenTRONS and Wazer.
