Maddy is the Partnerships & Corporate Investor Relations Manager at IndieBio NY. In her role, she serves as the primary point of contact for Corporate Limited Partners (LPs), ensuring alignment between SOSV’s LPs and IndieBio NY. Maddy leverages her understanding of each LP’s strategic areas of interest to provide valuable industry insights, market trends, and opportunities for direct investments and collaborations with IndieBio startups. Beyond her Corporate LP responsibilities, Maddy is focused on strategic partnerships, building relationships with external investors, academic institutions, startup development programs, service providers, and corporates, and coordinating and hosting events alongside organizations across the biotech and life sciences innovation ecosystem in NYC and beyond.

Before joining IndieBio, Maddy spent three years at IBM as a Digital Change consultant. At IBM, she worked with healthcare clients in both the public and private sectors, providing support with their workforce strategy, change management approach, branding, and integrated marketing communications campaigns. Prior to consulting, Maddy spent time at Rhapsody Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage hard-tech investments.

Maddy grew up in Evanston, IL, and graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations (Economics) and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She has always been passionate about entrepreneurship’s ability to challenge the status quo and help shape the future of reality. She is a strong believer that biotech innovation will help deliver a more sustainable and prosperous world. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, doing yoga, making art, singing, and traveling.
