Alex is a Senior Director and Partner at IndieBio, investing at the preseed stage across deeptech sectors including biotech, materials science, chemistry, and applied AI. Beyond capital deployment, he works directly with founders on the operational challenges of building category-defining companies—helping them raise follow-on rounds, develop go-to-market strategies, and forge strategic partnerships.

With IndieBio since its early days, Alex has contributed to developing the program into a leading deeptech investor. He holds a PharmD from the University of Iowa, giving him the scientific grounding to evaluate complex technical claims across biological and physical sciences.
