Mahmoud Eljendy

Mahmoud has an academic background in chemical engineering and business. He worked as a market research analyst with Kantar TNS on different projects with companies like Etisalat, Nissan, Toyota, and Egypt Foods. Then, he started his venture, DeltaOil, in the CleanTech space. DeltaOil is collecting and processing used cooking oil from more than 1300 collection points in rural and suburban Egypt to be converted into biodiesel. The company was profitable after the first year in operation and just raised series B funding. After staying there as CEO for 2 years, he had a partial exit to start Proteinea in late 2019.
