At SOSV, we know there’s an eager audience for smart conversations with the best deep tech founders, technologists and investors. We programmed the SOSV Climate Tech Summit each fall for the past five years, and our 100-speaker agendas pulled in 10,000 participants each time. 

Improving on those summits would be difficult, but that’s what we’re aiming to do in our next chapter:  the SOSV Deep Tech Summit, which will focus on three areas: climate tech (of course!), human health, and AI for the physical world. 

We decided to broaden the summit because so many remarkable, frontier technologies, AI not the least, are leveling technical challenges once thought insurmountable across every deep tech category. Focusing on climate alone left too much out of the conversation, especially given SOSV’s broader mandate to address human and planetary health. That said, SOSV remains as committed as ever to climate tech, and the momentum lost under the present US administration only makes the mission more critical.

The first day of our new SOSV Deep Tech Summit will be dedicated to climate tech. 

When it comes to human health, our second day of programming, SOSV has long been a pioneering investor, and it’s a category where AI in particular is having a huge impact in drug discovery, medical devices, mental health, and diagnostics, among others. We will feature scientists, founders and investors who are leading the rapid acceleration across all these areas and more.

We are dedicating the third and final day to AI for the physical world, which includes everything from humanoid factory robots to autonomous research in a dark chemistry lab and drones surveilling seedlings in a field. Thanks to advances in frontier AI and semiconductors, AI is disrupting every deep tech category. We see this across our portfolio at SOSV, and we’re convinced that we’re in the early stages of an AI revolution that is almost beyond our imagining. Who ever thought we would see self-driving taxis in our lifetimes?

Just as we did for the SOSV Climate Tech Summits in the past, we will tap SOSV’s vast network to muster the top investors, founders, and technologists across the deep tech ecosystem for great conversations moderated by top journalists and editors.
