Avrell Stokes is the Co-Founder of Be-Great.Tv and CEO of the company’s non-profit, BeGreat Together. He received his Master’s of Public Health degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012. In partnership with local community advocates, he has established a non-profit that focuses on building resources and presence towards economic, social, and environmental factors impacting disinvested communities. Mr. Stokes also serves as a cross-state, non-profit director, for those facing mental health or behavioral health challenges. Mr. Stokes comes to Be-Great as someone who has seen and experienced the hardships of communities seeking to advance beyond the historical disinvestment that has taken place in their communities.
