In aw of exploration, driven by an insatiable curiosity and passion for advancing humanity, Marieh embarked on an explorative journey from Iran to America, seeking diverse perspectives on life. MAA’VA, born from this adventure, is a convergence of her multidisciplinary skills and a mission to revive the hidden empathy in architecture and science, serving both humanity and our mother Earth.

MAA’VA’s groundbreaking work has garnered prestigious recognition, including the Women of MENA Technology Innovator Award 2023, CEMEX Ventures Construction Startup Finalist , and being named one of the Top 13 Global Green Construction Startups 2023 for decarbonizing the built environment, promoting a circular economy, and redefining the Contech industry. Additionally, MAA’VA has been named a Yale Sustainable Venture Finalist, MIT Solve Semifinalist, World Economic Forum Featured Climate Innovator, and Pitch for Progress Global Impact Startup.

With a master’s degree in architecture from UCLA, under the tutelage of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne, Marieh specialized in sustainable development & design, advanced materials, and robotics in architecture. Her diverse portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects, including sustainable LA 2050, autonomous vehicle stations, urban fabric design for Hyperloop stations, single-family homes, residential developments, commercial buildings, and multi-unit mixed-use projects.

Prior to this, Marieh completed her undergraduate studies in architecture and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Tehran. She has passed all 6 divisions of Architectural Registration Exams to become a licensed architect in the United States.

Through MAA’VA, Marieh continues to bridge the gap between architecture, science, and human empathy, forging innovative solutions that uplift communities and protect our shared home, Mother Earth.
