Nick is Co-founder, Director and Partner at dlab, SOSV's new decentralization accelerator and venture studio, where he is currently focused on open data, distributed systems, and blockchain technology. Nick also serves as SOSV's Director of Technology, and is responsible for guiding the development of SOSV's software platform and the services they provide to staff, partners, and portfolio company founders.

Prior to SOSV, Nick co-founded several startups, including Mogotest and Wefunder. He has worked in CEO, CTO, and director-level roles at several other organizations, and has served as a software architect and strategy consultant for businesses ranging from small product startups to Fortune 500 companies. He also created the Rumble hackathon series, the largest online development competition of its kind.

Nick has made significant contributions in the areas of developer tools and software testing (Docmeta, Mogotest), open data (BankLocal), cryptocurrencies (involved in Bitcoin since 2011), and crowdfunding (Wefunder and the US JOBS Act). He is passionate about open source, democratization of finance, urban and local sustainability, machine learning, and improving the world through technology. He earned his MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University, is a published author, and a board member at a local-first non-profit.
