Dmitry Paperny studied Graphic Design at School of Visual Arts in New York, graduating magna cum laude in 2003. Dmitry continued his education at Yale School of Management where he was a member of the Business for Creative Leaders charter class.
Dmitry is a multi-disciplinary designer specializing in websites and digital experiences, corporate identity and brand strategy, user interfaces, products and packaging and video and motion graphics. In 2008 Dmitry co-founded Cohere Studio with a commitment to create and enhance online brands and solve clients’ business challenges through the use of strategy, design, technology and behavioral sciences. Since then Cohere Studio has created award-winning work for Fortune 500 brands and startups alike, including Intel, Microsoft, AT&T, Bank of New York, Starwood Hotels, TechCrunch, Condé Nast, Danone, mLab and Gust.
Prior to founding Cohere Studio Dmitry was Creative Director at Time Inc Interactive (a division of Time Warner) where he oversaw design and branding of category-leading websites such as InStyle, Entertainment Weekly, People, Real Simple, Time, LIFE, Sports Illustrated and more.
Over the years Dmitry has won numerous awards, including Web Designer of the Year and Time Inc. President’s Award. Dmitry has taught graduate courses on digital design and content creation as an adjunct professor at New York University’s School of Publishing.
