Then sign up for the SOSV Climate Tech Summit (Oct. 25-26 / free & virtual / register now) and join the live breakout sessions, where firms will talk about their investing approach and take questions. Here are three more breakout sessions to put on your calendar:

Third Derivative (D3), founded by RMI and New Energy Nexus, is a collaborative climate tech ecosystem that aims to find, fund, and scale the world’s most promising climate startups. Its community includes $4T market cap of corporate partners, $7B AUM of investor partners, and 110 startups addressing climate challenges across all major emissions sectors. Join Jamie Hankins, Startup Portfolio Manager, to learn more about D3 and how its ecosystem can support your startup.

Since 2013, Prelude Ventures has been investing in the low-carbon economy. Today, the team manages a $1.5B+ platform dedicated to advancing frontier climate tech innovation across all categories. Their recent investments include Lightship, a maker of electric RVs, and Terabase Energy, which provides digital and robotic automation for utility-scale solar power plants. Join co-founder and Managing Partner Gabriel Kra and Principal Alex Harbour to learn how Prelude deploys $120M+ annually into climate tech.

We’re also proud to announce that summit partner Goodwin is also hosting a breakout session focused on legal topics for startups working in climate. Goodwin’s  Climate Technology practice focuses on entrepreneurs, operating companies, and investors who are pioneers in the climate technology market. The law firm has advised some of the most  significant deals in climate tech including Sam Altman’s Series E investment in Helion (check out Helion’s Summit session) and Lowercarbon Capital’s $800M fundraise (also featured on the main stage). Hosted by Goodwin attorneys Andrew Sparks and Samantha Deacon, the roundtable discussion will profile the firm’s current climate technology clients and their winning legal strategies for success and growth, as well as address questions from the audience.

These 30- minutes breakout sessions run throughout the Summit. Don’t stress about missing the main stage presentations—you can catch those on demand later.
