Similar to bubble wraps in protecting fragile items, Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) are the protective shield in delivery of delicate mRNA molecules. Thanks to the advancements in genomic medicine, it takes less than a week to design and manufacture any mRNA molecule. However, it took more than 10 years to build the LNPs that we received in mRNA covid vaccines. The huge chemical space of lipids is the pain point in the discovery of organ targeting LNPs. Dandelion enables a generative AI to design organs targeting LNPs from first principles. They’re actively partnering with leaders in the industry.
